Nurse Psychotherapist
Hi, I’m Miranda, a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist with a unique, evidence-based approach that blends my background in nursing, psychotherapy, and education. My goal is to help you build resilience, navigate life’s challenges, and create lasting change in a way that feels supportive and empowering. I specialize in working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, perinatal mental health concerns, and the adjustment to new medical or mental health diagnoses. I also help clients navigate life transitions, burnout prevention and recovery, and building meaningful relationships. My practice is open to all ages, including children, youth, adults, and families. In addition to working with individuals, I also support healthcare providers struggling with burnout and vicarious trauma. I understand the toll that caregiving roles can take, and I provide a space to process, heal, and regain a sense of balance. I use a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Polyvagal Theory, to help clients develop nervous system regulation and emotional resilience. If you're looking for support, whether for yourself, your family, or your professional well-being, I’m here to help.
